What the content is

Editorial opinion and general information about exercise equipment, written for a general audience. It is researched and sourced — every page carries its sources — and it is still opinion. Nothing here is a guarantee that a product will suit you, work for you or last a particular length of time.

Specifications quoted on product pages are the manufacturer's published figures and are labeled as such. We do not measure or test products, do not verify manufacturers' claims independently, and say so plainly on How We Pick. Makers revise products without changing the name, so check the current listing before you buy.

This site is gear guidance, not medical advice, and nothing on it is a diagnosis, a treatment or a substitute for professional care. Exercise carries risk.
